Meet Rob
Rob founded Coaction Solutions Ltd in 2010 to help micro, small and medium-sized businesses build stronger, more consistent and more credible organisations through the practical application of ISO Standards, sustainability, and responsible business practices.
Rob helps business owners turn good governance, ISO Standards and responsible business practices into practical ways of running a stronger, more resilient organisation. Rather than treating ISO Standards, sustainability or stakeholder expectations as separate compliance exercises, he helps SMEs bring them together into business management systems that reflect how the organisation really works. This gives owners and leadership teams clearer responsibilities, better decision-making, stronger risk management, greater customer confidence and a more purposeful foundation for sustainable growth.
His approach combines ISO expertise, a scientific background in evidence-based thinking and sustainability, and more than 40 years’ experience across service-based organisations. This gives him a practical understanding of the pressures SME owners face when they need to focus on strategic leadership, improve consistency, meet customer or supply-chain expectations, win new work or make responsible business more achievable.
Rob’s style is plain-speaking, structured and collaborative. He works alongside business owners and leadership teams to focus on what matters most, put meaningful improvements in place and help each business become more capable, resilient and better prepared for the future.
Customer reassurance
Our promise is that the quality of our work often certified by a 3rd Party organisation such as The British Standards Institution (BSI), continues even if your ultimate objective is not connected to certification.
However, when it comes to ISO Standard certification, we promote using only UKAS accredited certification bodies to ensure your certification is acceptable in any situation, especially supply chain procurement processes and Pre-Qualification Sites (PQQ).
As we are a member of BSI’s Associate Consultants Programme, we recommend using BSI as your certification body, but we will work with any UKAS accredited certification body where relevant.
This ensures our work together is independently audited and validated by a third party that helps build customer confidence.

I have known Rob for quite a few years now, we have often considered going for ISO accreditation. Having looked at requirements for applying for public sector tenders, it became apparent a lot of organisations look for this. So I spoke with Rob and he came and met with us and discussed the benefits, especially with ISO 9001 which is focused on quality.
This is very important in our core values. We applied for BSI accreditation , Rob carried out an internal audit for us which highlighted a couple non conformities we addressed these and have just past stage 1 of the process (with flying colours I might hastened to add). Rob made this stage seem so simple (although this is a very complex process if you don't know what you are doing).
We are looking forward to stage 2 in November 2025 and are really confident we have everything in place. I cannot recommend Rob highly enough for help with any ISO accreditation. thanks again Rob.
